During my 4th year at university, I had the chance to spend a semester abroad on the Erasmus programme. I chose Denmark because I have always admired the northern approach to design and architecture and I was keen to familiarise myself with their culture, lifestyle and social norms.
Additionally, I got to know many people due to the international student body at the university which I believe has expanded my horizons greatly.

Architect at BERKEIN Architects, Sofia
September 2014 - present
Currently I am working as an architect at Berkein Architects in Sofia, Bulgaria which is a subsidiary company of Architectenburo Berkein from Aalter, Belgium. The company is specialised mainly in residential buildings but has also various other projects in its portfolio. As part of the design team, I am responsible for the initial ideas of projects and have the opportunity to make functional and minimalistic architecture.
Currently, I am managing for a small team of people who are responsible mainly for the design of single-family houses. In our team we value creativity and strive for excellence.
Intern at OFIS Arhitekti, Ljubljana, Slovenia
summer 2013
This 3-month internship at OFIS Arhitekti was a really valuable experience for me. I had the chance to work in a dynamic atmosphere on international competitions and make a scale model of a house for the exhibition "OFIS_open files" in Prague. I tested my ability of working under pressure with different people and learnt more about the design process and the organisation of work. Last but not least, I met incredible people at the office and enjoyed living in the beautiful city of Ljubljana.

Intern at "Sofproect - Master Plan", Sofia, Bulgaria

I have spent a month as an intern at the office which elaborates the Master Plans of Sofia. It is a firm with long history which is connected to the Municipality. During that month I had the chance to see some of the plans for the future development of Sofia and work on a small project. I also helped the office with the preparation for an exhibition which took place in the centre of the city.
